A very random week

William loves to play pretend. He changes the babies nappy and makes everyone cups of tea.

Jack scored some dragons at trash and tresh which he thought Pop would love.

William found a Darth Vader light saber so there was yet another duel.

We had a movie night and William watched his first movie, Rio.

Jack and Tori enjoyed a sun shower on the deck. Happiness.

Grandparents Day

Jack was so proud to have his Nan come to grandparents day at preschool.

The children put a concert on for the grandparents and it was adorable.

Daddy Day Care

For the past month every Monday and Tuesday Grandpa has dropped by and the boys have been paving. It's getting closer to completion. It's looking good!

And when they aren't hard at work outside they are having the occasional lightsaber duel.

Just as boys do.

Beach Holiday

I still can't decide which part of beach holidays I love the most. Is it the ice cream?

Or the white lions at Mogo Zoo?

Baby Yoga on the beach?

4WD'ing to magical beaches where dolphins are surfing the waves?

Or fishing off the boat in the river? Taking in the serenity.

The best thing about beach holidays is hanging out with my boys.

And watching movies under the stars, drinking hot chocolate and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.

Holidays?

It's been another busy weekend. After loosing 18.5kgs I had to throw out the fat clothes.

Bethany turned 5.

James cooked a most delicious Mexican Bombe and Jules followed it up with a Mexican feast.

William fell in love with Janet's new baby, Bella.

And mum and I made a cake and had a family photo taken.

Cheeky Little Monkeys

We met Ilze, Luke, Blake & Drew at the pool this morning and William ran around the pool non-stop for over an hour. Jack took the day off preschool and we had a special lunch. Ilze makes these gorgeous custom designed sock monkeys and they went straight to bed for an afternoon nap. Thanks Ilze!

If you want a Cheeky Little Sock Monkey you can find them on facebook.

And is there a better way to end a Thursday than home baked muffins in a shiny clean oven?

Happy Anniversary

Our busy weekend started with a 6th wedding anniversary dinner at Art Expresso in Kingston. The dessert was a real treat. Stu ordered the Chocolate Ravioli with a strawberry and hazelnut salad and tia maria foam. I had a brandy snap basket, Frangelico ice cream, Baileys foam, cherry compote, chocolate orange ganache. OMG!

We visited the Hall markets and enjoyed some fresh donuts and a car ride.

I cleaned out the pantry.

We bought Tori a new dog house.

And I cleaned out the garage all while the boys were working hard on the paving.

All we need now is the pavers!
