Warmer Days and Par-Tays

The boys are loving the warmer weather but William was still playing with his horseys at 9am on Saturday morning! We had a visit to Nanna's house with some freshly baked choc chip and macadamia cookies. The boys enjoyed saying hello to Pop's budgie and helping uncle Mike with a load of wood.

It was Stu's idea to try Korean bbq in Dickson and it was a delicious beef banquet and of course Jack and William thought the novelty of the bbq built into the table was wonderful. They were both able to take turns in cooking and serving themselves.

We had the most awesome time at Fletcher's 5th Birthday and it is wonderful to have such friendly neighbours. The boys enjoyed the bowling and the Bat Man cake but the most exciting part was the arcade games they were given tokens for and of course the lolly bags.

Sunday Sweetness

It was a sunny and warm day after a week of blustery winds and showers. William's highlight was homemade playdoh and colourful beads.

Matthew enjoyed poking his tongue out for the camera.

Jack took Elizabeth for a ride in the taxi and Maryanne left these Jam drops which were truly delicious and left a guilty taste on the lips.

3 cakes in 2 days

Chocolate fudge cake layered with cherry jam and covered with rich chocolate ganache, fresh raspberries and mint.

Juliette and I combined forces to make this Master Class style dessert. Flourless chocolate cake, orange ice cream, chocolate and orange mousse, orange purée and honeycomb. All home made and all too delicious.

Lastly, rocky road cupcakes for a school fundraiser.

Random Good Times

Jack's first book week costume was a great success and made for record time when getting dressed for school that day.
William and his ponies.

Jack plucks up the courage to feed the hungry calves.

It finally got warm enough for Tori to enjoy a swim at the dog park.

William sometimes needs a recharge after keeping up with his big brother.

Jack addressed his school at prayer time and was a very confident and mature speaker.

William made a potato head family. Jack is the one poking his tounge out.

William was super excited to ride a real pony and it was a gorgeous day at Hall.
