Mount Ainslie

It was an absolutely stunning day so we decided to conquer Mount Ainslie. We've walked up a couple of times on warmer days but today we were determined to make it to the top.

Jack was thrilled to take some photos for his project on Canberra and William kept chatting the whole way even when his legs were wearing out.

Later we put our feet up and watched Angry Birds. What a super weekend!

Strathnairn

It was a Jack's idea to walk down to Strathnairn for afternoon tea on Saturday after soccer. It took 30 minutes each way. Will rode his bike and Jack observed the birds and talked to the horses that greeted us on our arrival.

There was a resident huntsman in the bird watching area and some very creepy heads have been added since the last time we visited.

We took the bicentennial trail behind the golf course which was much easier than travelling along the road.

Later that evening we met some very lovely people at Blu Ginger to celebrate Stu's birthday while the boys stayed home with Chris & Lauren. Juliette made his favourite Black Forest cake and it tasted just as good as it looked.

Cool Weekends

Jack played his first away game for the season at Hakwer and received the encouragement award. He was a great asset to his team and they definitely missed him when he was subbed off the field.

Will showed off his excellent driving skills after the Million Paws Walk when we dined at New Acton Park.

First Eucharist

Jack and Bethany celebrated their first Eucharist last night after weeks of preparation they were so proud.

God Mother Jules was the photographer and Grandpa joined us all for Yogurt-Land after the mass.
