Sleeping Beauty

For the last two nights since William ate his first solid food he has slept like this from 10.30 - 6.30.

Was just thinking last night that 7.30 is my favourite time of day when the kitchen is closed, the baths are done and we can just enjoy being in our Pj's and watching Dirty Jobs before bed. How much our lives have changed in 3 years.

The temperatures are dropping below zero this week but William is ready for any weather.

Sunday

It's been a wet weekend but we have been keeping busy. Jack has been cleaning the house and William is learning early about the joys of having clean floors.

The Spotty Dinosaur

Jack painted these pictures today while I was feeding William. You can see his imagination and his fine motor skills have come a long way in the last 4 months. From bottom left to right: Daddy - now featuring arms and legs, a rainbow and the spotty dinosaur. I love that you can see the dinosaur's skeleton and ribs.

Baby

Just look at those pudgy little hands and chunky cheeks. It's times like these I just can't stop staring in awe.

Mum's boys

William is still addicted to his swing and has started to refuse going on the floor for longer than 5 mins. Jack refuses to eat his dinner and randomly throws toys around when he is bored. Mum's hair is falling out from the stress and exhaustion.

But they love each other and the love their Mum. All you need is love. Right?

Goodnight Kisses

Jack is able to read this bedtime story to William and he is introduced to the wonderful world of numbers.

William is learning how to give goodnight kisses. At the moment it's mainly just a lick but the love is there. It's all about the love.

This is William's latest party trick.

TWINS!

Boys dressed up in nice clean shirts and jeans for photos today.

Happy Birthday Three OH!

William got rugged up early for lunch at Hall.

Baby Elizabeth only 3 weeks old had her first fine dining experience.

Jack sat still for the 3 hour lunch, only getting up to take the occasional breath of the fresh country air.

The Duncan boys were all together.

And the food was superb.

Dad enjoyed the caramel mud cake and appreciated that he had Danika, Sam and Jack to help him with the candles.

Mum's boys had a great day.

Reunited

When Jack saw Molly this afternoon it was like she had never been away. They gave each other a gigantic cuddle and then watched tv like old times. They are the best of mates.

Just Chillin

The boys are just chillin' and enjoying twenty ten. It might just be the most awesome year we have so much time to just hang out. It's awesome!

Nanna's Little Pyro

It started out like any other Sunday with Jack riding on the back of Pop's ute with his Nan and William tried to do some driving.

And they were surrounded by love.

There were long and restful naps in Aunty Ren's bed.

But then he woke up to a fire and he turned into a little red Indian.

Jack, Nanna and Aunty Ren danced around the fire singing, 'oh yeah, oh yeah!' and throwing in pine cones and wood.

Sick Boy

Poor Jack was on his way to visit Kai when he was sick in the car. It was only 1030 but he was pale an exhausted.

My heart feels heavy when my baby is sick. He felt better after we came home and watched a movie. He asked if he could see Kai now and I said he couldn't because he was sick. "I feelin FINE! I said!" So after a long afternoon nap he really is a lot better but we will wait a few days until we see Kai. Last year we counted 10 ear infections and the season is just beginning so we will be so glad to see the specialist in 2 weeks. Maybe he can fix my baby.

Busy Bee

William loves this bee and he plays with it on the toy mat. He pulls it to his face and 'kisses' and licks the lucky bee.

But he never gets to play alone for long because then Jack comes along to 'help' him out and makes the bee fly around.


He just loves him SO much.

In other news William is quieter on car trips these days but it isn't because of his dummy. He constantly takes the dummy out and replaces it with his thumb. Cheeky!

Mother's Day

Jack and William bought me this baking book for mother's day so today Jack and I tried a recipe that was MasterChef inspired.

William had a great time being bounced to sleep along the winding dirt roads.

There were some awesome views.

Things you people without 4WD will never get to see :p.

And a picnic for Jack of course.
