Kindergarten Rest Days

Jack has spent the last four Fridays with his good friend Sam and they have had so much fun!

They made kazoos in science time at Questacon.

In between Fridays they went on a long bike ride to buy kinder surprises.

They made plenty of trips to the pool.

Jack joined in with Sam's gymnastics group.

There were balance beams and foam pits!

And some naps!

And a trip to Costco!

THANKS FOR ALL THE FUN JULES!

Canberra Show

We had the hottest and most fabulous day at the Canberra Show!

We enjoyed lunch with Nan, Pop & Uncle Mike under the shade with a view of the precision utes and motor bikes in the arena.

We saw the stalls, the lego competition, the pottery, baby animals, chocolate coated strawberries, gigantic cows and so much more. Jack took his first roller coaster ride.

And William chose the truck ride.

There was a tea break with kids activities, show bags, police motor bikes and plenty of cold drinks.

Nanna's Birthday

The cousins came over to celebrate Nan's Birthday.

Stu made dinner. Bec made drinks.

Aunty Erin made an Apple Tarte Tatin and between the 3 of us we had a MKR quality meal.

GOAL!!!

Those pants were the first size 18 I ever had to buy and that was what motivated me to get healthy.
It took 12 months but I've lost 24kgs.
Today I am 57kgs and have a BMI of 24.7. But most importantly I can jog behind Jack's bike and carry William up 3 flights of stairs without getting puffed. My skin has a healthy glow and my heals don't crack. I feel strong and in control.

First Day

Jack was ready and excited for his first day of school.

I was lucky to be there to drop him off and stay for a while until the Principal kicked the parents out. I had glassy eyes and a lump in my throat but I was so proud.

Jack's friend Bethany is in the class next door.

Jack jumped right into the lego with the other 22 kids in his class and the year 6 peer support kids too. When he got home he had so many great things to tell us and he couldn't wait to go again.
