Janet and Jeremy bought this 'holiday block' in Nimmitabel and we visited for Grace's 12th birthday.
We walked through the bush to find a beautiful little pond. There were sounds of peace, crickets and birds until we were greeted by LEECHES which completely freaked all the city kids out.
The kids played card games and had water fights. It was a beautiful way to escape the rat race and a much cooler climate than Bemboka which is just 30kms away.
At 5.30 the wind changed from East to West and the temperature dropped by 10 degrees. The fog came over like a blanket. It was beautiful!
