Canberra Day

Stu had some trouble cooking since the accident last year but this weekend he got his cooking mojo back! Below, filo pastry filled with spiced lamb and pine nuts.

We had a delicious yum cha for lunch on Sunday after swimming. Quan's Kitchen at Kippax does the best yum cha in Canberra.

We bought ourselves a dart board and taught the boys how to play. It must have been beginners luck because they beat us both. Stu told them it was a great game because you can hold an ice cream in your hand while you play.

Scoring became a whole lot simpler with an app to subtract the scores. There really is an app for everything.

We woke up early to see the balloons and Aunty Erin and Arrabella working on the Owlbert Einstein balloon. We had some delicious pancakes for breakfast as balloons were still taking off overhead.

We took Tori for a play at the lake and she jumped straight in. Jack and William realised how warm the water was and jumped in too. It was such a warm and beautiful Canberra day which ended with a sun shower. Perfect!
